About me
Shawn Zhang is a Chinese writer-director based in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
He Graduated from Academy of Film at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), and got Anthropology Master degree at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He began his film journey in Shanghai Vancouver Film School, specializing in Directing and Post-production.
His FYP feather screenplay Tropical Malady was supervised by Lou Shiu Wa, who is known for The Way We Are (2008), which won Best Screenplay at The 28th Hong Kong Film Awards.
